Levico Terme in winter

The lake blanketed in white

The magic of winter embraces Levico Terme, whitening a landscape where the lake turns into ice, the surrounding mountains become a pristine white and the town is decorated for celebrations. Here, winter means skiing on the Panarotta or Alpe Cimbra / Lavarone ski runs, but it also means plenty of walks following the slow pace of nature, excursions with snowshoes and skating. In addition, the Christmas markets of Levico, Pergine and Trento are unmissable. The lights, the scent of cinnamon, and the music recall the true spirit of Christmas.

The mountains in winter...
...Nature, silence, snow

Far from the more popular and crowded circuits in Trentino, Valsugana is one of the best valleys for exploring the winter landscape. Here you can organize snowshoe excursions or walks in the woods, admiring the silent hills covered with snow. If you prefer the adrenaline-pumping fun of skiing to the calm rhythm of nature, both the Panarotta area (20 minutes) and the Alpe Cimbra / Lavarone area (25 minutes) are easily accessible.

A magical atmosphere
Levico Christmas Market

From the end of November to Epiphany on January 6, the Habsburg park comes alive with small huts with handicrafts and local food stands. The lights hanging from the centuries-old trees show the way to those arriving from far and wide and the many scheduled events make the anticipation of Christmas a magical moment.
